Course overview

This 2-day course provides the knowledge and skills needed to install and configure a SAN using Brocade switches. This course is also built to gain knowledge to pass the BCFA certification. It is the introductory course into Brocade fabric switches, Directors and the DCX Backbone. This course provides a significant amount of hands-on experience and discussion to help students become proficient with the features of Brocade Fabric OS and M-EOS.Topics include introduction to Fibre Channel, Switch Installation, and Configuration. Advanced topics include zoning, Inter-Switch Link (ISL) routing, ISL Trunking, updating switch firmware, backing up switch configurations, and troubleshooting. Students perform switch management using Telnet, Brocade Web Tools, SAN Health, and Fabric Manager
